An excellent example from the cultural festival was the staged reading with video projections, dance, singing and Oriental music based on Khalil Gibran's book “The Prophet”. Aneta Barcik directed it and delighted the audience with her skilful combination of all the different elements. The text recited in German was sung in Arabic and accompanied by Oriental music, video and dance. This brought Gibran's book, full of wisdom about life, closer to everyone: it speaks of life, death, love, joy and pain.
