Algerian Cultural Day 2015

To discover Algeria, the German-Algerian Cultural Centre invited everyone interested to learn more about Algerian culture during the Arab Cultural Weeks in Hamburg. Algeria was taking part in the Arab Cultural Weeks for the first time. The varied programme included lectures, culture, tourism and Algerian specialities. Alongside an exhibition about the War of Independence and children's performances, Karkabou sounds created a wonderful atmosphere. In his address, Ambassador Nor-Eddine Aouam recalled the many Algerians who rushed into the streets after the fall of the Wall to celebrate with the German people. The programme was organised by the German-Algerian Cultural Centre.
